I wanted to bring to your attention that Facebook is about to allow ‘vanity’ URLs to be registered beginning at midnight tonight. This means that instead of having a web address that’s an incoherent string of numbers or letters, you can now have a Facebook Profile or Page with a ‘name’. Last night I presented a workshop for PRSA NY entitled Twitter 101 for Public Relations & Marketing Professionals. We had a great turnout with 90 attendees and an incredible view thanks to our hosts, Bloomberg. We wanted to share the slides as well as the links to sites that we discussed during our session.
